Rebel Monkey Names Jeff Kesselman New CTO

Project Darkstar Inventor Joins the Impressive Rebel Monkey Roster

NEW YORK CITY, New York – July 21, 2008 – Rebel Monkey ™, a New York entertainment company dedicated to enabling new kinds of immersive play for casual gamers, today announced the appointment of Jeff Kesselman as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Kesselman’s experience in the video games and multimedia industries spans over fifteen years. As the inventor of Sun Labs Project Darkstar, he spearheaded Sun's push into the online games market. He is co-author of the book "Java Platform Performance: Strategies and Tactics" and has spoken at numerous conferences on both performance tuning and Project Darkstar. In addition to Sun Labs, Kesselman held senior engineering positions at Total Entertainment Network and Crystal Dynamics.
